I will still be conducting CEU training cedits for all my customers in the Nebraska area, and the IECC duct leakage testing for residential new housing.
Residential HVAC duck leakage testing services. And wcan also providedirection on where and how to install new HVAC equipment that provides you with nthe best air flow through the entire new house
What is it?
It is a test of your heating and cooling system to determine how much air is leaking out of your ductwork tom the outside. If your ductwork is leaking 350 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) that is almost a Ton (1 ton of cooling is equal to 400 CFM) and you have a 3 ton system. You are paying (Electric bill) for 3 tons of cooling and only getting 2 tons in your home, that is why your house is HOT in the summer, but everything is "Working".
And we meet the 2009 energy code requirements for HVAC leak testing on residential homes, and provide a “Certified” test report required by some city inspectors.
We provide all of the testing equipment necessary to perform this certification. And generate a report that is accepted by all the local jurisdictions.
We also provide training to both shop and field technicians on how to effective meet the energy code standards when it comes to sealing the ductwork. This has been the #1 problem for passing this requirement.
